We’re pleased to spotlight…

Cynthia W. Nickerson, Operations Specialist  

Cynthia started with Apex in the Equipment Finance Operations Department. Now, as an Operations Specialist, she prepares documents to send to customers and follows up with brokers to keep transaction approvals moving forward. Cynthia has also taken on more broker relations responsibilities, and attended several conferences.  

Favorite thing about working at Apex Commercial Capital: “I like talking with our customers and the brokers… resolving issues, trying to find solutions, and [improving] process. What’s great about working for Apex is that it’s a smaller company, so I’ve had the opportunity to work in different positions [with] different responsibilities. When I was younger, I worked for Time Life. It was a huge organization, and it was very difficult to get seen or have opportunities to try different things. That’s not the case here.”

Favorite thing to do outside of work: “I like to go on hikes, and I like to travel. Recently, I went to visit my daughter in Grenada, and that was great. We went scuba diving, which I haven’t done in years.”
