Andrew Tauber leads the Apex Commercial Capital team with a focus on strategy, growth and optimization of resources to achieve the highest levels of business performance and profitability. Named one of “40 under 40” by Philadelphia Business Journal in 2003, he has served as a commercial lending executive and specialty finance leader since 1990.
Andrew is also the Executive Vice President, Managing Director of Firstrust Bank Lending Subsidiaries, and holds a board position at LeBow College of Business Dean's Advisory Board, Drexel University and Firstrust’s Fintech banking platform, Hatch Bank. He also serves on the Drexel President's Leadership Council. Andrew is a graduate of Drexel University.
Jaime Weinstein oversees legal, compliance, documentation, and day-to-day administrative and operational functions for Apex Commercial Capital. With a rich background in equipment finance, she also brings experience with tax and transactional law, Jaime holds a J.D. and L.L.M. from Temple Law School and a B.A. from Long Island University – Global College.
Claire Gorton is responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including reporting and budgeting. She brings substantial experience in the mortgage banking industry including auditing, corporate accounting and treasury services. Claire holds a BS degree from Penn State University.
Kevin Boyer manages all credit and collections functions for the commercial mortgage and equipment finance products of Apex Commercial Capital. While Kevin has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry, he also holds a U.S. patent obtained during his work in the petroleum refining industry.
Donald Wampler drives the success of our equipment finance division. Applying a strong history in financial services, he connects numerous revenue related functions, revenue operations, marketing, pricing and reporting. Donald earned his CLFP designation in 2013.
Andrew Fraone’s focus is on driving sales results and developing product and pricing strategies which differentiate Apex Commercial Capital– all while delivering white glove customer and/or broker satisfaction. He brings vast experience to the team with a deep background in financial services. Andrew is a graduate of Penn State University.
Stephanie Hall, CLFP, is the Senior Vice President of Indirect Lending, with over 17 years of experience in small-ticket equipment finance. She previously served as Executive Vice President of the Small Ticket segment at a publicly traded bank in the Chicagoland area and held a similar position at an Austin-based independent finance company. Stephanie earned her CLFP designation in 2014 and is actively involved in industry associations, including serving on the Advisory Council for Equipment Finance Cares and the Membership Committee for the ELFA, as well as participating in the Women in Leasing Committee and Standards and Ethics Committee for the National Equipment Finance Association.
Shannah Berger is responsible for the origination and cultivation of our relationships for both our Commercial Mortgage and Equipment Finance- Vendor Direct product lines. She began her career with Apex Commercial Capital in 2006 as an Operations Specialist before moving to the sales team in 2014.
Shannah joined the management team several years later and has worked closely with the Account Executives to ensure that our customers, vendors and brokers receive efficient and timely service on each transaction. She holds a bachelor’s degree from La Salle University and earned her CLFP designation in 2019.
Tim Westburg is primarily responsible for management of credit and product risk for both the direct and indirect business lines. Tim boasts over three decades of experience in consumer lending, equipment finance, auto finance and portfolio acquisition. He holds a BA in History and Business from the University of Richmond.
