Dominic Venuto,
‍Credit Specialist

Dom analyzes risk for equipment finance transactions. He’ll review applications that come in for our Broker & Indirect Funding team, see if they fit our criteria, and then approve or decline it. When Bryn Mawr Funding was bought out, Dom came to Apex Commercial Capital with Tim Westburg, now a member of Apex leadership team. “It’s been a really easy transition, and the people here have been very helpful – Tim has been a great mentor. [Overall], it’s a very happy place.”

Favorite thing about working at Apex Commercial Capital: “It’s consistently different… reviewing multiple deals a day – one hour you could be looking at a medical deal, the next you could be looking at a construction deal. I really enjoy it. I’m helping small companies. I’m helping them grow, and that feels good.

Favorite thing to do outside of work: In some ways, Dom weighs his outside activities the way he weighs applications. “I’m a big golfer and fisherman. They’re both warm weather activities, so I have to weigh which one I do more – some summers I golf more, some summers I fish more. [Either way,] I like getting outdoors and getting some sun.”
