Giuseppe Cucuzza, Commercial Account Executive, EF Vendor Direct Line

“I've been here for 16 years – this is my first job out of college,” Giuseppe told us. “You learn a lot [here] as far as how different types of businesses run and what different customers are looking for. And here at Apex, I think we cater to everybody and try to create individual finance programs that work for our customers.”

“My responsibilities in my role are to not only take care of our vendor partners – their sales teams, their operation teams, and making sure things flow correctly – as well as building programs for their end users. Making sure the customer has the ability to keep their capital free and still bring on equipment that's revenue-generating or central to their business. I [like] interacting with people throughout the country. There's such a diverse personality or type of person when you go from the Northeast to the Midwest, to the South, to the West Coast.”

Favorite thing about working at Apex Commercial Capital: “[Apex] being my first job and coming from family-owned food service, it would be that we still have that family touch. I'm one of 10 to 15 people that have been here for 10 plus years. So, we're a family. It's that family touch that we get – still being a corporation, but still being able to see the family come out of people.”

Favorite thing to do outside of work: “Outside of work, I have a passion for health and fitness. Whether it's taking the kids on hikes or trying to back squat 375 – it's the gamut – I pride myself in cooking, cleaning, eating healthy, and just living as long as I can.”
